From soil conditions to root health\, you’ll gain a better understanding of what’s happening beneath the surface and how it impacts the overall health of your trees. \nAlong the way\, Emma will share insights on common issues like soil pH and chlorosis\, girdling roots\, tree damage\, and overall soil nutrition—helping you learn how to better support and care for the trees in your own landscape. \nThis class will take place outdoors so please dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. If there is inclement weather\, the class may be rescheduled or moved to an indoor location. You will be notified by email of any changes. This class is intended for ages 14+\, all minors must be accompanied by a registered adult. \nRegistration is required; space is limited! This class is non-refundable. In this hands-on class\, you’ll explore the basics of worm composting and discover why worms are one of the easiest and most effective ways to compost\, whether indoors or outdoors. \nYou’ll build and set up your own worm farm during the class and head home with a starter system and live worms\, everything you need to begin composting right away. \nAll materials are included in the cost of the workshop.
