Bernheim Forest and Arboretum encompasses 16,000+ acres, including a 600-acre arboretum with over 8,000 varieties of trees. Visitors discover the wonders of scenic wooded hills crossed by 40+ miles of hiking trails, experience the landscape from 75 feet above the forest floor at the Canopy Tree Walk, play adventurously at Playcosystem, interact with public art created through Bernheim’s 44-year Artist in Residency Program and other art initiatives, including L+A+N+D and Thomas Dambo’s Forest Giants, and enjoy a meal harvested from Bernheim’s Edible Garden and prepared at Isaac’s Café.
