The Dubuque Arboretum and Botanical Gardens (DABG) was established in 1980 and is 56 acres. DABG was started by volunteers and is still maintained by around 300 volunteers today. DABG includes the following gardens: Herbs, Hosta’s, Roses, Annuals and Perennials, Cacti, Prairie, Wildflowers, Hydrangeas, Children’s Gardens, Garden of Eat’n, Japanese Garden and Koi Pond, Formal English Garden, Deciduous and Conifer Collections for all to enjoy.
