Located in the intermountain desert of western Colorado, the Montrose Botanic Gardens are an inspirational and educational space for our community members as they strive to enhance a landscape that was once greasewood, sagebrush and cactus. Our volunteers cultivate a variety of horticultural areas including Native, Crevice, Water-wise, Valley and Children’s Gardens. Our programming includes guided tours, planting and harvest days for kids, guest speakers and fun events to engage an ever-growing number of friends.
