Sonoma Botanical Garden, founded in 1987 by Jane Davenport Jansen, focuses on conserving the plant diversity of temperate East Asia. In 2021, the vision expanded to include the California floristic province. The Garden features meandering paths, seasonal elements, and hidden picnic spots, with each plant carefully labeled with unique identifiers, species names, and source information, blending beauty and science in its conservation efforts.
