Waterfront Botanical Gardens is an urban garden being built on top of a former landfill in Louisville, Kentucky. The Gardens opened in 2019 with 5 acres of the full 23-acre site developed. The Gardens are currently free to visit, with features including the Graeser Family Education Center, Ellen T. Leslie Botanical Classrooms, Beargrass Creek Pathway, bonsai display, and plaza. Adult and youth programming are offered year-round, plus special events, festivals, paid group tours, and more.
