Julia Rappaport Growing Gardeners Fund

FROM CLASSROOM TO GARDEN: CULTIVATING A PASSION FOR NATURE

The Julia Rappaport Growing Gardeners Fund offers annual grants ranging from $1,000 to $2,000 for educators to initiate or enhance gardening projects in schools and communities. This program aims to provide youth with hands-on gardening experiences to inspire a lifelong passion for gardening, the natural world, and horticulture.

Application Details

  • Deadline: March 14, 2025
  • Applicants should outline their project, objectives, plans, timeline, staff involvement, budget, and expected impact on youth
  • Grant recipients will be announced at the annual National Children & Youth Garden Symposium in July; attendance at the Symposium is not required
