Spring Garden Market 2024


Get ready for a blooming good time at the 2024 Spring Garden Market! Join us on April 12 & 13, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the beautiful River Farm, headquarters of the American Horticultural Society. With more than 2,000 attendees, the event is one of the largest fundraisers for River Farm, a neighborhood treasure of historical and horticultural relevance. Part of George Washington’s farmland, River Farm showcases AHS’s mission to promote the art, science and joy of growing plants.

Mark Your Calendars for the 2024 Spring Garden Market!
• Shop for natives, specialty plants, herbs, and much more
• Browse garden-themed art, books, tools and garden accessories
• View nature-inspired paintings by local artists on display in the Manor House
• Explore River Farm’s 25 acres of formal and naturalistic gardens, including a native garden, children’s garden, and a trail through the woodlands
• Purchase tasty bites and beverages from our food vendors and enjoy a picnic overlooking the Potomac River

Entry Fee
Entry fee is $5 per individual (walkers, cyclists), or
Parking fee is $20 per car, which includes the event entry fee for driver and all passengers.
ONLINE TICKET SALES HAVE CLOSED. CASH OR CREDIT CARD ACCEPTED AT THE EVENT.

• American Horticultural Society (AHS) members are free – including walkers and parking/passengers – and do not need to register online. Just bring your membership ID or the March/April 2024 issue of The American Gardener magazine to the event for entry.
• For non-members, you may apply your entrance fee towards an AHS membership (starting at just $35 for one year!). That means if you paid $20 to park, for an additional $15, you can enjoy all of the exciting benefits that AHS offers! Just show your receipt at our Welcome Tent at the event and sign-up. Or join online today!
• Children 6 and under are free.
• Parking on East Boulevard Drive is prohibited by Fairfax County
• No refunds, rain or shine.
• BYOW (Bring Your Own Wagon) to carry your purchases. A limited number will be available for use.

Vendor Applications
Vendor applications are now being accepted! Participation in the market is important as it allows vendors to reach a large audience of over 2,000 local gardeners, plant lovers, and nature enthusiasts with a platform to promote and sell your products. Volunteering is a great way to connect with like-minded individuals and give back to the comunity.
