Sensory Garden Grants

Through the generosity of the Anna I Snyder Sensory Gardens Fund, AHS will offer five sensory garden grants of $8,000 each in June 2026.

These grants will:

Support the creation or expansion of sensory gardens that are open to the public.

Encourage inclusive design practices that serve individuals with sensory processing differences, disabilities, or other accessibility needs.

Promote wellness and therapeutic experiences by inviting people to connect with plants and natural environments through sensory engagement.

Youth Garden Grants

The Julia Rappaport Growing Gardeners Endowment offers annual grants ranging from $1,000 to $2,000 for educators to initiate or enhance gardening projects in schools and communities. This program aims to provide youth with hands-on gardening experiences to inspire a lifelong passion for gardening, the natural world, and horticulture.
