Butterfly Magic’s ability to constantly change and evolve has kept it a staple of Tucson that can be revisited time and time again. Sonoma Botanical Garden’s Ribbit Exhibit (Glen Ellen, CA)

Sonoma Botanical Garden leaps into spring with Ribbit Exhibit, a whimsical, family-friendly presentation of more than 20 larger-than-life frog characters placed in vignettes throughout the Garden. Each with their own name and story, the enchanting human-sized sculptures by artist Andy Cobb include Zenny meditating on a leaf on the Garden’s Pond, Bentley and his tortoise friend Tortuga ambling along the California Oaks Trail, dapper Floyd and his elegant partner Grace cutting the rug amongst the flowers, and many others.

Colonial Williamsburg 77th Annual Garden Symposium: Roots of the American Garden (Williamsburg, VA + Virtual)

Colonial Williamsburg’s talented landscape staff strives to nurture the relationship between historical practice and the needs of the contemporary environment, just as our interpretive staff work to bring the past to life in ways both accessible and relevant to a modern audience. This year’s symposium presentations and speakers explore diverse topics and perspectives as we examine how historical gardening methods can both challenge and inspire us to bring about a more sustainable future. From edible gardening to landscape architecture and design, Colonial Williamsburg’s 77th Annual Garden Symposium digs deeper into the Roots of the American Garden.

Iris Convention (Dallas, TX)

The Iris Society of Dallas is happy to host the 2024 first-ever joint Louisiana and Spuria Iris Convention. Both Louisiana and Spuria irises bloom at the same time in Texas. For those of you that attended the 2023 AIS National Convention in Dallas, you saw how well the Louisiana and Spuria iris grow. We have FIVE area gardens to tour plus other exciting things for iris lovers to enjoy.

Yew Dell Botanical Gardens’ Spring Plant Sale (Crestwood, KY)

Yew Dell staff scour the planet for the best, the newest and the most tried-and-true to save you the trouble of doing it yourself. And the vast majority of plants for sale were grown right here in our on-site nursery. We’ll have our industry leading staff here to answer questions and help with recommendations.
