By Plane – The most convenient airport to Pasadena is the Hollywood Burbank Airport, with direct flights to two dozen cities in the western United States as well as Chicago, Nashville, New York City, and three Texas locations. Once you have arrived, you can either take public transit as outlined here or get a ride share. You could also book a rental car or a shuttle in advance, such as Prime Time Shuttle.
For participants flying from other locations who wish to travel nonstop, the area’s largest airport is Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). By Car –Major routes to Pasadena include I-210 from the east (San Bernardino), I-5 and I-210 from the north (San Francisco, Sacramento, Santa Clarita), and I-5 from the south (San Diego). Local routes such as the 134 and 110 lead from the west (Los Angeles) to Pasadena.
Symposium Accommodations
Hotel Headquarters – The NCYGS hotel is the Hyatt Place Pasadena (399 E Green St, Pasadena, CA 91101). The hotel is convenient to historic Route 66 and local shops, eateries, and entertainment. The Pasadena Convention Center is steps away, directly across Green Street.

Session Headquarters – Sessions will be held at the Pasadena Convention Center (300 E Green St, Pasadena, CA 91101).
Ground Transportation
For the two days of sessions at the Pasadena Convention Center (Tuesday, July 14 and Thursday, July 16), participants can walk directly across the street from the hotel to the sessions.
For the pre-symposium trip (Monday, July 13) and the field trip day (Wednesday, July 15), bus transportation will be provided between the hotel and the sites.
