On Saturday, November 7th, we’re celebrating the National Bonsai & Penjing Museum’s 50th Anniversary with a day full of festivities. Tour the museum, see 3D bonsai tree visualizations, take part in family activities, and grab a bite from local food trucks during this free celebration. Activities are ongoing between 10 AM to 4 PM — no registration required.

From 6 PM to 8 PM that evening, the museum will host a science café to explore the science of bonsai, featuring engaging presentations by expert scientists. Expand your scientific knowledge, get an exclusive view of bonsai after dark, and enjoy themed cocktails and light bites. Tickets cost $40, and must be purchased in advance.
