Jumpstart Your Garden Workshop (Chaska, MN)

Join the Andersen Horticultural Library and Extension Master Gardener staff, and UMN Extension Educator Julie Weisenhorn for this inspiring workshop to help guide your summer garden designs! You’ll leave with more confidence, a list of plant possibilities, and a sketch of your design.

Choose your garden shape, and what type of plantings you’d like- cutting flower garden, edible garden, pollinator garden, shade garden. Additional garden design reference materials from the library will be available, along with a plethora of seed catalogs for you to explore and use to inspire your creativity.

Herbal Spring Symposium (Niles, MI)

Gather with fellow herb enthusiasts for this day-long symposium featuring presentations from local and national herbalists. You’ll learn about herb cultivation, culinary and medicinal uses, preservation, and much more! Cheekwood in Bloom: Belle Fleurs (Nashville, TN)

Bienvenue to spring at Cheekwood! This year, impressions of France are brought to life with 250,000 blooming bulbs in cheerful pastel colors. Just as the exploration into Edgar Degas through works on paper are on view in the museum, Belles Fleurs comes alive in the Color Garden with a nod to classical French garden design. Traverse along parterre-inspired gardens and stop to capture a photo at the model Eiffel Tower. Warm pinks, apricots, and lavenders balance bolder expressions of red and yellow to further the echoes of Impressionism.

Yew Dell Botanical Gardens’ Spring Plant Sale (Crestwood, KY)

Yew Dell staff scour the planet for the best, the newest and the most tried-and-true to save you the trouble of doing it yourself. And the vast majority of plants for sale were grown right here in our on-site nursery. We’ll have our industry leading staff here to answer questions and help with recommendations. Our Garden Gift Shop staff will have special new offerings for the home and garden. And Martha Lee’s Café will be here to keep you fueled up throughout the day.
