Mesilla Valley Irish Show (Las Cruces, NM)
The Mesilla Valley Iris Society has an Annual AIS sponsored show each year in mid-late April usually at the Mesilla Valley Mall near the theater. Over 100 irises are brought in by members as well as the public to be judged by trained judges of the American Iris Society.

Sale is happening this year Sept 7-8 at the Mesilla Valley Mall near the theater, during mall hours. Irises are very showy flowers that bloom in the spring and come in a multitude of colors and patterns. All sales have pictures showing what each iris looks like and club members are available to answer questions.

Enchanted Vista Iris Society Annual Iris Show “An Iris Holiday”, will be on Saturday, May 4, 2024, Sabana Grande Recreation Center, 4110 Sabana Grande Avenue, SE, Rio Rancho, NM. Entries include the horticulture division, artistic designs (flower arrangements, must include irises), educational displays, and iris photography division. Entries in all divisions are open to public participation with entries taken from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Containers for the horticulture division is provided by the society. Judging follows from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The show will be open to the public 1:00 – 4:00 PM. No entry fee. For further information please call Robin Kishbaugh at (505) 550-9352.

The sale is open to the public 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Potted Iris at $7.00 each and iris rhizomes $2 to $7 will be available. These are irises that are locally grown by club members. The irises are cleaned and marked. Club members will be available to answer questions.

Join The John Fairey Garden on Saturday, March 16th, for our third annual Budding
Out Plant Sale & Festival, a premier spring event that offers rare and hard to find
plants from The John Fairey Garden Nursery and other select plant vendors from the
region. We will offer rare plants suitable for the most discerning plant collector or
distinctive plants for the beginning gardener. Additional offerings will include art,
ceramics, jewelry, food, music, and presentations.
Admission is $5 for Garden members, $10 for non-members. Children under 12 are free.
Gates open at 8 am.
Members entry 9am – 4 pm (Memberships available on day of event).
General Public entry 10 am – 4 pm.
