The Path of Pumpkins (Rockford, IL)

The Path of Pumpkins Returns! Anderson Japanese Gardens has partnered with schools from across the region to provide a new Halloween-themed outdoor experience. Middle and high school students will showcase their pumpkin carving creativity within individual exhibits consisting of multiple carved pumpkins, creating the Path of Pumpkins. Each admission will be provided with a voting card. Be sure to fill it out and drop it off in the ballot box or hand it to the Gift Shop Team! The three schools that receive the most votes will be awarded cash prizes! The winning schools will be announced on Anderson Gardens social media!

Fall Festival (Newark, OH)

An annual celebration of autumn, Mums at Meijer Gardens is the largest exhibition of its kind in Michigan, featuring expansive chrysanthemum displays, fall foliage and family-friendly activities.

Central States Dahlia Society Show (Glencoe, IL)

Get ready for an explosive burst of color that will leave you loving dahlias! Presented by the Central States Dahlia Society, this judged exhibit will feature 16 total displays using nearly 1,000 dahlia blooms ranging in size from a silver dollar to a dinner plate. Society members will be on hand to provide written information and to answer questions about dahlias. Blooms will be available for purchase at the end of show on Sunday from 4 to 4:30 p.m..

Mindfulness in Nature (Madison, WI)

Mindfulness is the act of consciously focusing the mind in the present moment, with awareness of judgments, and without attachment to the moment. Our time together will include sitting, standing, and moving mindfulness exercises and discussion in a judgment-free space using plants, flowers and the gardens as inspiration. Everyone is welcome from beginners to the experienced.
