Mount Pigsah Arboretum – Mushroom Festival (Eugene, OR)

Leach Botanical Garden – Feast in the Garden (Portland, OR)

Hoyt Arboretum – Fall Mushroom Discovery (Portland, OR)

Discover the fascinating and fun world of mushrooms! The program will start with an indoor introduction to the ecological roles of fungi, their forms, how they eat, reproduce and the basics of identification. The talk will be followed by a casual walk outdoors on the Arboretum trails to carefully observe and explore the species commonly found at Hoyt and in the Pacific Northwest during the fall season! See mushrooms in their natural habitat and start practicing those new fall mushroom ID skills!

Bellevue Botanical Garden – Flower Hour: Fuchsia (Bellevue, WA)

Join us in the Garden after work (5 p.m. – 6 p.m.) for a relaxed and informative hour at the Bellevue Botanical Garden. In this walk through the Fuchsia Garden, Carolyn Zebroski will show you some of summer’s most dazzling floral displays cultivated by the Eastside Fuchsia Society since 1992.
