The Manor House walls are adorned with beautiful paintings curated by Robert Murray of The von Brahler Ltd./Gallery.
The new exhibit features works by three Russian artists.
Otari Shiukavili (1921 – 1995) is a significant artist of the modern Renaissance of Russian art in America. Vladimir Ovchinnikov’s (1941 – 2015) artwork hangs in The Metropolitan Museum of Art, sells at Sotheby’s, and is part of the Rutgers University Russian Collection. Yuri Kokoyanin, a Russian postwar and contemporary painter who now resides in Alexandria, has exhibited worldwide and has artwork in the permanent collection of the Mint Museum of Art in Charlotte, NC. In addition, artist Nathan Leibowitz, whose image of Anne Frank is part of the United States Holocaust Museum collection, captures River Farm in a series of graphite and ink sketches.
