Professional Photographers 

Are you looking for the perfect outdoor setting to bring your clients for a photography session? River Farm features a variety of colorful backdrops for your next shoot. Professional photographers are assessed a usage fee and must comply with the below guidelines. Call (703) 768-5700 ext. 114 to set up an appointment.

Weekday usage fee: $50/two hour session, available Monday – Friday between 10am and 4pm

Weekend usage fee: $100/two hour session, based upon availability

Artist and Photographer Guidelines

We look forward to having you here to paint or take photographs on the property. Please adhere to the following guidelines so all of our guests have a pleasant experience.

For Everyone’s Enjoyment and Safety:

  • Please do not interfere with the enjoyment of our other guests.
  • Please be considerate of activities (weddings, tours, educational programs, festivals, etc.) that might be occurring while you are here by setting your work station up an appropriate distance away.
  • Take care to place your chair/easel/tripod in grassy areas only, do not block walkways. The Estate House porches, tent area, and parking lot are not available for easel/tripod stations.
  • No chairs, easels, or tripods are permitted in the Children’s Garden, however, artists are most welcome to sit on the benches and to use sketch pads there.
  • If mowers are on the property, please move to another area while they mow your station.
