March 2020 Update: Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, the American Horticultural Society (AHS) has decided to cancel the in-person symposium in Santa Cruz and explore virtual options instead. We remain grateful to Life Lab, our on-site partner in Santa Cruz, for all of their work to-date, and we hope to partner with them at a future point in time.
While we regret that presenters and attendees won’t get valued face-to-face time in Santa Cruz, we feel this is the best possible option for everyone. Like you, AHS is committed to sustainability; therefore, we see the silver linings in an online event, including cutting our carbon footprint, offering high-quality professional development content at a lower cost, and exploring new ways to connect and collaborate with colleagues across the country.
We will be in touch again soon with further details about participating in online learning opportunities!
