AHS Members

If you are an AHS member you will enjoy a discount on your NCYGS 2022 registration.  Be sure to create a username and login in order to access your member benefits online.  Not a member? Join today!

Presenters

Presenters receive a discounted registration. Look for an email in early April with a link to access your discounted rate.

Registration Fees

Online registration closes June 24. Planning to register on-site? Let us know (education@ahsgardening.org) so that we include you in meal counts. All NCYGS attendees must present proof of vaccination in order to attend.

Full Symposium

Registration fee includes general and breakout sessions, field trips that take place during the symposium schedule (pre- and post-symposium experiences incur additional registration fees), and breakfast and lunch Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

$325 for AHS Members during Early Bird registration/ $375 after May 13th Click here to register (AHS members will be prompted to log in)

$300 for students or AmeriCorps members (must be able to demonstrate status as current student or AmeriCorps service member) 


Single-day

Registration fee includes general and breakout sessions, field trips, and breakfast and lunch for the date of registration.

$175 during Early Bird registration / $200 after May 13th (select the appropriate link above to register)

Discounted registration is available for staff of gardens that participate in the American Horticultural Society’s Reciprocal Admissions Program. A link to access the discounted rate will be sent via email to your garden’s AHS liaison when registration opens in early April. Email education@ahsgardening if you did not receive the link.

Scholarships

A limited number of scholarships for discounted or complimentary registration are available for the 2022 National Children & Youth Garden Symposium. In addition, thanks to generous support from Ball Horticultural, five (5) scholarships are available to cover registration, 3 nights hotel stay, and up to $300 in travel expenses for attendees that self-identify as Black, Indigenous, and/or as a Person of Color. The window to apply for a scholarship is now open. The window to apply has now closed.

Scholarships will be awarded based on demonstrated commitment to children’s and youth gardening initiatives, work with under served and/or Title I populations, and financial need.

Cancellation Policy

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to education@ahsgardening.org. A full registration refund, less a $50 processing fee, will be made if requested in writing through June 13, 2022. No refunds requests will be accepted after June 13, 2022.
