Native Plant Conference at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens (Birmingham, AL)

The Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens is excited to announce the return of our signature Native Plant Conference. Held every other year, this in-person offering includes talks and tours designed to increase awareness of Alabama’s native plant species. Plant Sale at Leu Gardens (Orlando, FL)

Plants, Plants & more Plants! Shop directly from the growers and best of all, Leu Gardens is free all weekend, donations are gratefully accepted at all entrances to help offset costs of this event. Make sure you bring a wagon or plant cart for your purchases. Rain or shine. Growers will be selling a variety of plants including: annuals, bamboo, bromeliads, butterfly plants, camellias, ferns, fruit trees, gingers, heliconias, herbs, native plants, orchids, palms, plumerias, roses, vines and more! Plus, we will have some great outdoor garden accessories! There will be delicious food and treats to purchase so you can stay and enjoy the day.

Spring Bloom at Airlie Gardens (Wilmington, NC)

When warmer temperatures approach, Airlie Gardens’ springtime blooms are a sight to see! Blooming typically between mid-March through mid-April, we have over 75,000 azaleas on property, and have planted over 60,000, spring bulbs. Peak bloom is weather dependent, so bloom times may vary.

The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society Philadelphia Flower Show is both the nation’s largest and the world’s longest-running horticultural event, featuring stunning displays by premier floral and landscape designers from around the globe. Started in 1829 by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, the Show introduces diverse and sustainable plant varieties and garden and design concepts. In addition to acres of garden displays, the Flower Show hosts esteemed competitions in horticulture and artistic floral arranging, gardening presentations and demonstrations, and special events.
